The Hill Company site known as Solus 31 is a new purpose built state of the art secure offsite facility for the storage of documents.

The purchase of this facility represented a multi – million pound investment by the Company. The building was purchased freehold which has meant that we are able to provide better value in terms of service to our customers over the long-term. Due to the building being owned freehold we are not subject to rent increases, which we may otherwise be forced to pass on to our customers.

South Ockenden

The Hill Company facility at South Ockenden is a 29 acre, 600,000 square foot former Ford manufacturing plant and is located less than 10 minutes from our head office site at West Thurrock. This building is currently being equipped with multi – tier racking.

Security and protection measures

Physical security measures are as follows;

•    Perimeter fencing around the entirety of the site.
•    Single gated entrance locked at all times.
•    Security lighting
•    Police and security firm response.
•    Security present on site 24 hours per day, 365 days per year.
•    NACOSS approved intruder alarms with GSM Redcare.
•    CCTV cameras for 24 hour surveillance recorded to a digital video recorder.

Fire Detection systems:

•    Fire extinguishers throughout document storage facility/offices.
•    Smoke detectors.
