Document Shredding

We offer a complete onsite and offsite secure, confidential document shredding service for paper documents. Documents are shredded on-site or securely collected by our:

Uniformed drivers
Tracked vehicles

They are then securely destroyed to BS EN15713 with the paper being recycled. A destruction certificate is issued on completion.

The Hill Company is fully licensed as a waste carrier by the Environmental Agency. Our secure document shredding service is fully compliant with all GDPR requirements.

Shredding forms part of our document storage service where it is used to securely destroy documents that have reached the end of their retention period, in accordance with the customer’s document retention policy.

The shredding can be carried out on-site (using our shredding truck) or off-site.

Onsite Shredding Service

Our on-site service is delivered by one of our document shredding trucks attending your premises. Our staff collate the items to be shredded and securely destroy them on your premises using the shredder in the truck. The shredded paper is taken back to our premises to be recycled.

Offsite Shredding Service

We offer an offsite shredding service, whereby one of our uniformed, employed drivers will collect the items to be securely destroyed. Everything collected will be recorded and a Waste Transfer Note issued. The items are returned to our premises, via our tracked vehicles, to be shredded immediately.

We offer a complete range of equipment to manage the paperwork while on your premises. These include:

Lockable shredding consoles.
Lockable wheelie bins – 120Litre, 240Litre, 660Litre& 1100Litre.
Paper Shredding and woven shredding sacks with numbered seals.

One off Collections / Office Clear out.

If you are having a clear-out or an office move, we can provide bins or sacks for you to fill with confidential documents. Alternatively, we can collect your boxed-up paperwork. If you have scanned your documents or they are no longer required we can securely shred the paper originals.

Once you are ready, one of our tracked vehicles will attend the site and remove all items and issue you with a Waste Transfer Note. Our service is fully secure and meets GDPR requirements.
